We are looking for a strong and resourceful Technical Product Manager to join our growing hayu Product & Technology team at NBCUniversal. The key aim of this role is to ensure projects are delivered at a fast pace by managing the product backlog and directing resource. The Technical Product Manager will be a critical link between development and customer support and assist other team members in requirements gathering and sign off.

Some of the key focus areas and deliverables of this role are;

  • Partner closely with Technical, Project and Product Leads to priorities and clarify business and technical requirements.
  • Manage the backlog of Product issues and tasks to ensure items are prioritised and delivered according to business needs.
  • Act as conduit between Customer Support, Dev and CRM teams to ensure critical live service issues are identified and managed.
  • Work closely with hayu Product Team, Project Manager, External Dev and QA teams to make sure User stories and acceptance criteria are completed and signed off.
  • Partner closely with key Business stakeholders to gather, document and analyse their requirements/user stories.
  • Analyse and interpret KPI data to pull out key areas of improvement required.
  • Backlog creation and prioritisation (using Jira).
  • Applying Agile Delivery methodologies.
  • Creating User stories and writing Acceptance Criteria.
  • Driving a Data Driven decision making process.
  • Working collaboratively with 3rd Party development vendors.


  • Experience with Product, Business or Systems Analysis.
  • Strong knowledge working with Video Streaming Technologies.
  • Experience with E-Commerce.
  • Experience working on B2B and D2C projects.
  • Have an understanding of basics of Web, iOS and Android OS/delivery as minimum.
  • Experience with CMS and CRM systems desirable but not mandatory.

– Inquisitive with a critical eye – knows how to break down how a system works, understand the ‘how’ and ‘why’ and be able to communicate this knowledge to non-tech team members.

  • Experience in working with 3rd party vendors.


  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Ability to travel internationally (Canada, Australia, Nordics)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
