Who we are
The Social Team is part of Global Consumer Marketing at Twitter, and we help communicate our thoughts and company announcements to the world. We also help monitor conversations happening on Twitter, and even join them! We help show the fun side of Twitter, in areas that people are passionate about.
What you’ll do
The Social team is responsible for a wide variety of Marketing campaigns – from celebrity interviews, to outdoor billboards, to big live events. The Social Operations Lead will be the Captain Marvel of campaigns – fighting the battles, triumphing through adversity and saving the day.
Project Management from start to finish across the campaign
Working with Marketing Leads to establish key stakeholders, KPIs and milestones
Creating project timelines, budgets and workflows
Work with cross functional teams on production – e.g. creative studio, video production, talent/celebrity teams, events
Develop campaign reporting and metrics to report success and learnings back to the wider business
Establish and maintain process for security of accounts – including onboarding and offboarding new employees, setting up ‘Tweeting For Twitter’ and ‘Moments’ training, and internal email alias groups for Social
You will be involved with many types of campaigns, with opportunities to work on some of the coolest projects – from the sports events that will go down in history, to the TV show you can’t stop bingeing, to the movie you know will win a hundred Oscars. So whatever your passions, you’ll have the chance to get stuck into something that tickles your fancy.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience in creative campaign project management – whether that’s at an agency or brand side
Experience in delivering creative including – digital assets, video content, social campaigns
A passion and interest in Social platforms. It kinda goes without saying, but an interest in Twitter is a must-have.
Minimum 5 years proven experience in project management
Preference for a fast-paced and dynamic environment; track record working across complex cross-functional teams
Resourceful, attention to detail, and comfort offering solutions and clarity where there is ambiguity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills; team-first mentality
Passion for Twitter and knowledge of how the service works and how marketers use it
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong working knowledge of Google tools (Gmail, spreadsheets, slides, etc.)
Experience with Sprinklr isn’t essential, but would be great
Experience on a Social Team is a plus
