• Lead the strategic scheduling and program planning for linear and on-demand platforms for Global TV and the Drama portfolio of channel brands
• Manage the Global schedule ensuring the internal teams are in synch on upcoming schedule needs, air-dates, program changes, delivery dates and key programming stunts and initiatives
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative and communicative relationships with multiple departments including: Research, Original Production, Digital, Marketing, Publicity, Sales, Finance, Legal, Master Control and Operations
• Work closely with Program Finance to ensure that ongoing schedule changes are tracked, and budgets are updated reflecting most current forecast
• Own and understand the program rights within the partner agreements to ensure rights are maximized and adhered to
• Build and manage strong relationships with US partners
• Make recommendations on programming acquisitions and scheduling strategy to drive optimal ratings performance and revenue
• Lead and mentor a team of program schedulers
• Track and monitor network performance on Global and Drama portfolio, as well as competitors and U.S networks
• Support VP and SVP with financial and presentation requirements

• A TV-lover with a passion for television, and programming
• Post-secondary degree (university or college)
• 10+ years working within the broadcast industry with proven management experience
• Strong time-management, prioritization and organization skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to progress multiple projects in parallel
• Creative thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo
• Lean-forward bias to collaborate and drive results
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts, provide motivation and build team morale
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional ability in working to tight deadlines and dealing with urgent issues
• Knowledge of CRTC regulations
• Experience using S4M or a broadcast management system
