Position Summary:

The Facilities Coordinator assists the studio team in the proactive, efficient and professional management of all facilities including stages, offices, parking areas and support buildings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Studio team with conducting pre and post studio inspections
  • Assists Facilities Manager with the coordination of upgrades and repairs to the studios
  • Acts as a contact for client facility issues and needs on a day to day basis
  • Coordinates with vendors and trades about facility maintenance issues
  • Communicates stage requirements to the Studio team
  • Assists with maintaining security of all facilities, including responding to facility alarms and regular testing and tracking of security FOBS
  • Assists with coordinating parking space allocation, facility cleaning and waste disposal
  • Additional duties as assigned, may include assisting with general office activities
  • Assisting in tracking/inventory of facility assets

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • valid Class 5 driver’s license and dependable vehicle
  • general knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, security and fire safety
  • excellent attention to detail and record keeping
  • excellent customer service skills
  • excellent oral and written communication
  • excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • good understanding of film production sets and film location protocols
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Work is normally performed in studio facilities and a typical interior/office work environment
  • Work may require occasional weekend, and evening work
